This week I have done Ghost. There are little springs and facts that he loves and likes  I had done a background rainbow because it looked nicer than a plan one it took me just one week to do this because the other week I was sick. I think I did a full honey jar and I did a lot too. I love my creation. the facts said he stole silver shoes. used to play basketball. he lives in a poor part of town. The other one says his mum is a nurse and his dad is in jail and he keeps running. The little springs say Duck food, running track, basketball, sunflower seeds and run.

This is my backpack of stuff I need to survive in the bush/forest. I packed Frist aid kit, water, warm clothes, shoes, canned food, blanket, sunscreen and matches.

Fire
Q1. If you want to make a fire you need to build a hole and have a bucket of sand or water.
Q2. Make sure you build it near a water hole too if something bad happens you always have that water there and make sure it is on dry land
Q3. Make sure there is nothing that can catch on fire.
Shelter 
Q1. Make sure it is in the tree because if it floods then you will be really wet and also do it in the tree case then bugs, animals and others can't hurt you.
Q2. Make your shelter out of wood and long sticks and if you find some sheets that would be good cause you can put it over and then it will not leak.
Q3. Do not make it that big and not that small because you need to put something in your hut and you do not want to much space.
Making freshwater.
Q1. Do not drink still water because there could be bacteria and bugs and other yuck staff 
Q2. If you see a stream you always check the water before you drink it case there could be something in the water you found.
Q3. And before you drink it you have to see if there are some animals because they could attack you well you are drinking the water.
Signalling for help
Q1. For help, you can send a flare-up in the air if there is a plane going past or a helicopter.
Q2. Try and get to the highest place and send the flare-up.
Q3. Try getting some stone and right on flat land SOS it means to save our souls.
S.T.O.P  Stop, Think, Observe, Plan
1. Stop means stop where you are
2. Think stop and think where you are
3. Observe. Stop think and observe it means to look at your surroundings.
4. Stop, think, observe and plan. plan, where you might go next and stay save, or better food or even by a water hole.

This week I have done Fantastic favourite and I made the characters from Ghost. The fun part was making them and the no so fun part was putting in the names I tried to do what Ghosts mum looks like. I did Coach Broody, Ghost, Lu, Paddy, Patina, Sunny.

The Manuka tree can grow on the side of the beach or in a forest

Chapter Chat week 4

Chapter Chat week 4 

This week I have done Creation Station. I did the book cover and it took a while to do it. I did a swan and Ghost is running from the swan. I also did a sun, trees, picnic blanket & I put the track. For the book cover I did little animals for the o I did a dog face and a cat face and for another o I put a bunny. My favourite part was the colouring and the least favourite part is drawing I loved the book and I hope there is a part 2.

 This is the figure 8 it is made to help keep your tent up. Like if there was a thunderstorm it would keep it up through the whole night it is very easy to make. It looks like an 8 with rope.

Knot double trouble alpine knot

This is an alpine butterfly knot. It is really hard to make.

It took me a while to make it but I made it in the end. 

It is quite easy

when you get used to it just like the reef knot. for the alpine butterfly knot, you make a figure 8 at the start and then you pull the biggest circle underneath and the small circle should be on top and then you pull the big circle through the middle and then you have it the alpine butterfly knot.



I would have made a third one but I ran out of time.

Knot Double Trouble!

This is the reef knot it is hard to make but easy when you do it all the time the reef knot helps you build tents tying it on to a tree to help your tent and anything else that you need to do to help you survive. All so sailers use this knot with active things.

This is an alpine butterfly knot. It is really hard to make.

It took me a while to make it but I made it in the end.
